Last night I did a post about God reminding me that He is the I AM and that He is and always has been with me. Today in my chronological reading, I am reading thru Judges 5 and 6. What is popping out to me is the Lord stating over and over "I AM the Lord your God".
Judges 6:12 The angel of the Lord appeared to him (Gideon) and said "Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!" Gideon feels he is the weakest and can't save Israel, and I was reminded of
1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise and God has chosen the weak things of this world to put to shame the things that are mighty. Then as I read on - Judges 6:14 Then the Lord turned o him and said, "Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I AM sending you!" Then again in vs 16 "The Lord said to him, "I will be with you."
Lord thank you for your signs of reassurance and presence in my life. Thank your for reminding me that you never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus Name, Amen

Somehow I missed your last two posts. I saw the one on Living for the Master but not these two. I wonder if something is going wrong with blogger or if I just overlooked them. I didn't mean too.
I'm so glad that God first loved us and put us in a place where we would eventually come to love Him and serve Him.
Right now I am leaning on Him real strong. My husband is having an ultrasound Monday to check his gall bladder and maybe a test to check for ulcers. He ate a sandwich one night earlier in the week and he started feeling a little pain right at the top of his abdomen. It contintued so finally called and went to see a doctor. He's been through a lot of things recently but God has been with Him all the way. God is truly the I AM in our lives.
I would appreciate your prayers.
You have been a very special person to me since I started blogging which was a year ago this month. Thanks for all of your encouragement.
